Best auto door!

I feel this is the best auto door on the market. I bought my auto door about seven or eight years ago and it is still going strong! Mine is the older AA battery operated model. I absolutely love it! I have had to restring the door a couple times, but that’s it. These doors are solidly built and nothing like the other ones I have purchased off the internet. Customer service is great and if it’s something I can’t fix, I’ve sent the motor into them to have them look at it. Once the batteries I used were no good and they looked at it and sent it back, saying it was fine and I just put bad batteries in it and charged me nothing but shipping! They stand by their product and have excellent customer service. I have bought a couple of cheap chicken coop, doors off a big company on the Internet and all I can say is don’t waste your time and money on those cheap horrible, not made in the USA chicken coop doors! No customer service whatsoever and did I say cheaply made? After the 30 -60 day warranty the two that I bought lasted less than two months! Well, as you can see, I have nothing but good things to say about this company, their product and their customer service. I usually don’t write too many reviews, but as I was restringing the line to my auto door, I was thinking what a wonderful Door this is and how it’s so great that I can just fix it whenever there’s a problem and it’s just not something that ends up in the landfill as trash! I can’t recommend this door enough as you can tell, lol!

Excellent wifi auto door, fits OverEZ perfectly

I ordered this thinking it looked a whole lot like the auto doors that OverEZ sells, but this one was not only less expensive but also included wifi capabilities. Took time to setup properly but once I got the location data dialed in and saved everything has been working flawlessly. Our coop door automatically opens 30mins after sunrise and closes automatically 30 mins after sunset. We have all newer chicks (under 4 weeks when installed) and they took to it like it was nothing. I’m sort of a tech geek so this was probably easier for me to setup than most. It literally took under a minute to install the door (4 screws – had to use 2-1 1/4″ screws of my own so I didn’t pierce the back of the coop on the top side of the door), and then another maybe 10mins cumulative to sort out the tech side/getting time zone & geolocation saved. Read the instructions (unlike me on first go) and you’ll get thru it.

BEST CHICKEN DOOR ON THE MARKET

Pet Auto Doors are the BEST we have found!!! We previously tried others.
Well constructed, good operating design, excellently built and engineered electronics, simple operation.
We have been using their doors for approximately 6 years with two different models. While the first model worked fine the current model is an improved version.
Whenever we have a maintenance issue, rarely, Elam backs up his warranty. He even answers his own phone!
We have power to our coop & run so we use the plug-in version. We also just manually set the door and open times as needed, about once a month, very easy. We originally had the sunrise/sunset auto model but did not find the need for that this time.
We and the chickens sleep more secure with their nighttime quarters protected with the lowered door.
We will always use Pet Auto Doors for our coop!!!

Our 2 doors are over 13 years . One stoped working and all it needed was a reset .

What can I Say? Great customer service

Purchased an older auto door 3-4 years ago and it was working great and all my chicks loved it and did not lose any chicks to predators while using it, then one day it just stopped working. What a bummer, so I called customer to see they could help me or to see what options i had if i had to purchase another one . Well the unexpected happened. There was updated new version of the door and it was not compatible parts wise with the old version but there was a few leftover power supply cords left over and was told that i might try one of them. Well it was shipped to me without charge and i plugged it in and am now back up and going and my chicks are happy. A Big Thank You for such outstanding customer service! ”If or when the unit finally goes out in the future i plan on purchasing another one from pet auto doors as they truly stand behind their product!

Listen up!

My daughter gave me a well used 12 year old Pet Auto Door. Dawn, the technician at Pet Auto Door helped me set it up with my Latitude/Longitude over the phone. It has worked flawlessly for 1 1/2 years. One night it failed so I called Dawn and ordered the new Door equipped with WIFI. Then I promptly canceled it because I plugged my old one in and it worked perfect. Apparently, it needed rebooted. I reinstalled it 2 months ago. Perfect ever since! MY NEXT DOOR WILL BE A PET AUTO DOOR, if we ever need one.

Great auto doot

Had the original door for over 12 years, It worked great until it did not.
The new door had a problem on set up but customer service handled quickly. Has worked great foe six months now. I love the convince and security. Predators check out my flock nightly.and it is much more dependable than humans to close .

Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener

I have had this door installed and running for about three months now. It opens and closes without fail every time.
It was easy to install and set up.
I will definately recommend this door to anyone else who may have a need for one.

Great company support

I have the original auto chicken door. I’ve had it for at least 5 years. It has made such a huge difference in my having my flock. I no longer have to leave dinner parties to ” close the chickens up”. There’s a great peace of mind knowing my girls are safe from harm. I’ve contacted the company on numerous occasions with questions. They have always been responsive and helpful. I highly recommend the auto door. Get one , you won’t regret it.
