Chicken Door Sizing
The Smart Automatic Chicken Door is 32-3/4” high and 11-13/16” wide. However, we can custom adjust the frame to fit whatever you need for your chicken coop.

We purchased the WiFi Coop door 2-years ago January 2022.
First I want to give a big shout out to Elam & Dawn who have always been so helpful with any issues along the way. They always answer your questions and resolve any problems.
We have ours hardwired so I can’t give any pointers on the solar option. This door is really amazing. I love the sunrise/sunset function this door has. This way you never have to keep changing the time like other coop doors that does not have this function as the seasons change. You do need to have the Smart Coop App on your phone to use the functions. You can also use the App to have the door open or close at given amount of time before the sunrise/sunset function. There is also an option that is not talked about on here called “Coop Light”. Elam sent us out the light and wire to try it out. You have the ability to have the Coop light turn on automatically in the morning at an exact time. You can also have it turn on 5-minutes before the door is scheduled to close to encourage your girls to go in. You can also turn the light on when ever you like on a 2-minute timer and it shuts off automatically. Another option that is not mentioned is when your on the App it shows the temp at the control module. Pretty cool. Our door is installed on the inside of the coop and I found it is within about 2-degres. Awesome to know the coop temp in cold and hot weather. We have had the door not open a few times in the two years we had it. It happens in the morning to let the girls out. We have to unplug to have it reset. I do update the firmware so not sure what is going on there. Bottom line is we Love the Coop door. It has been amazing having an automatic door. It is very well constructed and will keep the predators out. Again I can’t say enough on the customer service from Elan & Dawn. We recommend this WiFi Coop Door!!

Very easy installation. Had a couple glitches with the unit losing power but seems to be working now. Super convenient with setting the times to open and close. Chicks needed a few days to understand the times and door closings. Had the door close on one chicks neck but no injuries, luckily I checked to make sure they were all in and saw that the door had closed on her. The door is heavy but because of the spring, did not slam down.
